How do I get the most accurate pH measurements from it?

To get the most accurate measurements, we recommend that you use fresh buffers and calibrate (determine the correct range) frequently. A buffer is what keeps the pH within a narrow range. You will need to use buffer solutions that bracket the specific range of pH for the samples you are testing. Since you want them to be the same temperature as your water samples, if necessary you can warm your buffers up by placing a beaker in a bath of warm water.
